Charmaine began her career in radio in 2008 and has hosted the just about every time belt before her move to “The Impromptu Two” at 9 pm.
A graduate of Sociology and Communications, she has been trained in Speech and Drama since young and taught Drama during her undergraduate years. Having the extraordinary ability to fall asleep to the pounding sounds of trance, and known to enjoy alternative tunes too, Charmaine’s love for music across the genres and her sense of adventure fuelled the passion and desire for a career in radio.
Since joining Power 98FM, she has hosted many events – the Army Open House 2009, Get Your Sexy Back (Asia Pacific Breweries’ campaign against binge drinking), the SAFRA Bitez Club’s Food Trail, Salomon X-Trail Run 2010, Hard Rock Café’s Battle Of The Bands 2011, Mizuno Mt Faber Run 2011, RunBikeSwim Expo 2011, Sundown Marathon 2011, Mizuno Wave Run 2011 and more!
She currently hosts Kiss Cafe with Charmaine Phua Weekdays 10am – 1pm on Kiss92FM.
