Susan started her broadcasting career in 1977 with the then Radio & Television Singapore (RTS) as producer-presenter, and her career as a television presenter in 1978. Up till 1985, she was a full-time broadcaster with Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC). For almost 40 years now, she has been a familiar face and voice with local TV & Radio audiences. Susan is currently a part-time news presenter and features producer/presenter with CNA938. She is also a voice-over artiste and is often engaged to provide voice-overs for TV & Radio commercials, telephone on-hold messages & IVRS, TV & corporate documentaries and video presentations.

During the course of her broadcasting career, Susan had produced and presented magazine programmes, request programmes and talk shows for radio. She has also hosted major television programmes, including Talentime‘78, POSB Show, Sony Show, FeedBack, Christmas & New Year Specials, shows co-organised by RTM/RTS/SBC in the 1980s, News and Weather Reports.  Several years ago, Susan hosted “Bringing Up Kids” for MediaCorp TV Channel 5, a 20 episode series focusing on parenting children.   From 1999, Susan also produced and presented “Parenting Today” as a weekly talk show and daily feature which ran for 11 years on 938NOW, a station of MediaCorp. This talk show was renamed Parenting Made Easy, and continues to air on CNA938 until today.

As a Master of Ceremonies, she has emceed numerous major high profile events over the years for private & public sector organizations (list of organizations available upon request).

Aside from her hosting, voice-over, and radio/TV work, Susan provides voice coaching and training to executives and aspiring young presenters. She is Director of Integrative Pte Ltd and ACES Care Ltd.  Prior to this, she owned and operated her own events management company.  She was also Communications Manager and Marketing Manager with Community Chest, and Public Relations Manager with The Mandarin Singapore.

As part of her continuing social contributions, Susan provides her emcee services on a voluntary basis to many voluntary welfare and non-profit organisations (including Community Chest, National Council of Social Service, Students Care Service, SPD, amongst others), the annual President’s Challenge events, President’s Social Service Awards and annual Community Chest Awards.

Susan is a member of MOE’s COMPASS Advisory Council (COMmunity and PArents in Support of Schools) since 2014; member of IMDA’s Media Literacy Council since 2016; and District Councillor with the Central Singapore CDC since 2017.

For her social contributions, Susan received the Friend of MCDS Award in 2003; the Special Appreciation Award from Community Chest in 2007; and Long Service Awards from Students Care Service and SPD.
